If you a retiree or retiring soon from Indian Armed Forces, This can be highly impacted news for you. Uttar Pradesh government announced that all Ex-Serviceman of the state can apply for Ex-serviceman I-card only in Online mode. Important Points to note while filling Online form for Ex-Serviceman Identity card:
1. While registering for Ex-Serviceman Identity card, keep your mobile number with you as the OTP will be generated while creating first time Identity.
2. There no separate column for check suffix. So keep in mind that Ex-Serviceman has to enter his Service Number/ Personal Number/ Army Number / Navy Number with check suffix. e.g. If your Service number is 999999 and Check Suffix is ‘D’ then in Service number column you put 999999-D. This column is non-editable and hence you have to ensure to fill correct details.
3. Add your all relevent details including education , family details etc.
4. Your registered mobile Number will always be used whenever you want to edit or amend your details on web portal till Identity card handed over to you.
5. After filling all details your data will be automatically forwarded to selected Zila Sainik Board Office. You can approach on phone to get appointment for collection of Identity Card.
6. If there is any mismatch in details you filled, Zila Sainik Board will return the form for amendment. You can amend the details while log-in with OTP received on registered Mobile number and forward again your Ex-Serviceman Identity Card Application.
